spline nut issue

Your tip worked perfectly, vickmacky. I broke a part in the process though. Ill try to add a photo to see if someone knows what its called.



The broken part on the right came out of the lockwasher with the spring on the left. Does anyone know what the part on the right is called?? Thank you for your time.

Those parts come together in a wheel bearing retainer assembly.

Glad it worked. Can't help on the parts though, mine are completely different.
