Speaker Question
Hey guys,
My truck's in the body shop right now with the interior ripped out, and I want to replace the speakers while they're accessible, but I don't know what size they are (because it's in the shop).
Do any of you guys know off hand (or are able to measure for me) what size speakers a 94 f150 xl has? (single cab)
should just be 2 speakers in front, 2 in back, right?
thanks in advance

5x7 are so close to 6x8 that they're interchangable, I believe my rears are 6x8 in a 5x7 spot
front are 6.5". you an get some that are a few steps smaller, they may have tabs that reach out to the 6.5" holes, or a baffle

I just finished installing Front (Door) speakers in my 91, Kicker KS65's
(6.5" - but actually 6.75") I had to open up the hole in the door approx .25"
essentially the middle of the factory speaker mounting holes. So if you do not want to trim ensure you get 6.0 or 6.5 not the oversized 6.5's!
I have a set of 93 rear trim pieces at home that I was going to try to make work to fit rear speakers in my 91 but there are too many issues. I can measure and post tomorrow the size.
Instead I am just going to install 4" rounds above the seat belts in the factory trim pieces.
