Default spark plugs

hey guys, i have a 95 f150 V8 5.0L and am about to go get a tune up. i was gonna buy some of the parts my self to save on some of the cost. my question is this: whats a good spark plug for me to buy. im wanting a good performing and reliable one. theres alot out there so i was hoping ya'll could tell me your favorite and why and which ones NOT to go with.
By the way, i asked them how much they would charge me to just do the plugs and they told me a price of $70. i dont think i can beat that since i keep reading that people are paying anywhere up to $800. thanks in advance.

do it yourself... it's easy, you'll save the $70, and you get the satisfaction of working on your own truck

I just went and bought some today. I don't care about high performance for mine, just long as they work reliably long term so I got plain old Motorcraft.

I wouldn't worry about breaking them much. I mean, don't crank on it with all your strength but these aren't like the two piece plugs in the new 3v engines.

I haven't changed plugs yet in my truck, tomorrow will be a first. I got a Haynes manual too as those have all sorts of good info in em for particular models and years.

i changed my plugs myself, the hardest part was reaching a couple of them. its easy to not over tighten them, just crank with your hand then with the socket until they are firm so they wont wobble out but dont go crazy and strip them
