I think you're thinking of the newer trucks with the two piece spark plug design or something, I'm not familiar with those. I've never had that bad of a problem with a spark plug, twist (sometimes hard) and it will come out.

I used pb blaster and let it sit all night and still no luck. When I get off work in the morning I guess I'm gunna try it again and see if it either breaks or comes out.

yea just twist as hard as you can, iv never had any THAT bad but some pretty bad ones. never broke one.

you can always unplug the plug wire turn on the truck and floor it
but i don't know how that would help getting the spark plug out lol


try to get the spark plug out when the engine is still a bit warm the metal might have expanded enough so it will come loose.

What about breaking the porcelain, use a breaker bar and shallow enough socket that it is in just enough and not long enough to twist off kilter and slip? Unless it is a far back plug, but even then it shouldn't be too difficult. That is what I usually do if my spark plug ratchet doesn't have enough leverage on some plugs.
