Monroe makes good shocks, the sensatrac/reflex lines are basic OEM replacement shocks, while the gasmagnum line is designed for work trucks that carry heavy loads. Airshocks are not a great solution if your truck is sagging, they put a lot of stress on the shock mounts, which aren't designed to hold the truck up, and especially with an older truck that extra stress can be too much for the mounts. Do you have two or four wheel drive?

ive been running superlift super ride shocks for 5 years now.they are kinda stiff but very reliable and handle hard bumps very well. no complaints on my part. i guess it really depends on what conditions you are gonna be putting your truck through. if you do alot of heavy off-roading, then probly try edelbrock ias.
