Rancho rs5000 pretty good. And remember shocks will not raise or lower your truck.

It depends what your doing with the truck. If its hauling allot of heavy loads, you would need heavy duty shock, and daily driving or light duty, just your everyday shocks will do.

Also do you need front and back shock absorbers? Any auto parts store should be able to get what you need. And its always a good idea to buy parts above the economy price, as they would be better quality, better warranties etc.

I used to use Monroe Magnum's on mine but now I use Bilstein's..If you usually max out the payload then I highly recommend coil-over shocks...None of them usually last more than 50,000 miles or so. I have 22,000 on the Bilstein's and they are still as good as when I installed them even with the original coil springs at 110,000 miles on them.

I just ordered gabriels for the front and they arrived last week from jc whitney, now I am just waiting on my f250 coils to get here to replace it all at once! I ordered gabriel coil overs for the rear but they were out of stock. Bertha, are you wanting ideas on what brands are best, or are you wanting instructions on changing them?

Wow, lots of us are getting ready to do the F250 spring swap...nice! I'm hoping for a nice improvement in ride quality now that I'm running around 1200 lbs of materials around on a daily basis with the old girl...

I love my 90 straight 6...

its going be a stiffer ride for sure its not going to get any softer you need to get air ride for that best of both worlds.

Not looking for softer...just no more squat with a load. I've got nice comfy leather buckets from a Caddy CTS to cushion my butt. i haven't decided on the 250 coils or just progressive rate F150 coils as of yet. Definitely going with F250 leafs though and a limited slip Diff upgrade.
