Default Serpentine to V belts

My 88 bronco has a serpentine belt system that I would like to get rid of and go with the older V belt system, the reason I want to do this is some bronco owners are going with a Saginaw p/s pump from the vans to get rid of the noisey ford pump and I dont know if that pump was used with the serpentine belt system. What all do I have to change to go with a V belt system.

You can do the Saginaw pump swap and still keep the serpentine. https://www.f150forum.com/f10/f150-g...upgrade-56757/

Even though that pump might cause the steering to be too easy but the pump on the bronco is just too noisey and going to give it a try.

Too easy? No such thing. Mine works great, no noise and I don't need the pressure switch anymore that the 4.9s have. The original pump was making my belt throw and I got everything for free.

Need to change water pump and bracketry to line up pullys to use vbelts. You would need to change the front of the motor basically.

I was told the Saginaw pump would make the steering too easy on another forum but it was just low and is quiet now,I think the cooler is leaking and since its 2wd now I dont think it will be needed so it will get repalced with a hose and see if its still leaking and go from there.

I really don't see what they mean by too easy. It works for the van it works just as well on my truck and better than the old one too. The return line runs across the crossmember and back to act as a cooler on my 2wd truck.
