I've got a bench seat in my 95 single cab and want buckets. Will they bolt no problems or will I have issues?

Default Son Of Ford Man

I hope you are right about the seats being the same 73-96. I have a 78 regular cab that I bought new and I am starting a restore on it. Since the seat is shot I thought I might up grade to a 60-40 bench with high back. Any ideas out there what year I should look for? Are the shoulder belts going to be possible to adapt,I would like a little more safety if it would work. Also I saw some new seats out of some newer Fords, would they fit or be hard to modify? I can get newer seats that would not have to be recovered and get a nice seat for less money. That is why I want to change seat. I still want to seat three people though. This is my first post sorry it is long

The issue would be drilling four holes, and for safety the holes should be plated for strength.
