Default Rusty!!!

alright so i recently got into fords and i got a 94 f150 with the 4.9 and 5 speed. its an extended cab. as im sure most of you know up in wisconsin (where i live) things get real rusty, but my question is can i switch the cab with a less rusty one? and what year would it have to be? the reason for switching its the cab corners are shot and the cab mounts are gone.

Yes you can swap cabs. For sure you can do 92-96, which is a direct swap. I am 99.9% sure you can use a cab from 80-96 though. Correct me if I am wrong someone.

Why not just replace the cab corners?

There are differences in the cabs, mostly because of the different dashboards but also the firewall. Best to stick with '92-'96 but '80-'96 will physically bolt on.

There should be a thread on here on how to upload pics.

If the cab is as bad as you say, then it would probably be easier to swap cabs.
