Timing is advancing as it should with spout in.
Yes to charcoal canister, it is broken so I've just capped off the lines. Taking the tubes off makes no difference. No obstructions in tubes. And stock air filter setup.

I've noticed since the seafoam treatment it is behaving a little better. But when you start cold it wants to stall out going into gear. If I give it more gas it does fine though. Again this goes away once the engine is up to temperature

Sounds like u need to just let it warm up more before driving it.

That's what I've been doing. Still doesn't solve the oil in the intake issue though. You say rings or valves?

Forgot I could look back at earlier posts. Oops. But how much tear down is needed to replace rings? Or does that mean time for a rebuild when it gets bad enough?
