Just spry carb cleaner in the vac hose while it's running?

No no use carb or parts cleaner when you disassemble it to clean it. Use the sea foam in the vac hose.

If its real gummed up in there, disassembly will be the only way to clean 100% of it out. The seafoam will help some but won't clear layers of caked up gunk.

It is pretty thick in there from what I can see. Maybe I should clean out the lower plenum and then do the seafoam treatment

Was just looking in my shop manual. And it looks like some of the bolts overlap between the intake and exhaust manifolds? I was just planning on pulling the intake completely off and cleaning it. I'd really rather not mess with the exhaust manifold if I don't have to

Just pulled the upper intake off. Here's what the inside looks like. Looks to be like a pretty thin layer actually

Just pulled throttle body off. Tb gasket has a fair amount of oil on it and I've replaced that a few months ago. I think my best bet is to put it all back together. Seafoam the intake and see if it comes back
