These might get you close:

If you have a reputable speed shop locally, you might see what they would charge to custom build a cage in your truck set up to your liking.

I just ran across these guys on eBay -

Looks like they offer 8 and 10 point cages for F150's. This one is quoted as 92-95, but I'll bet it would fit in an older truck (heck, they aren't that different...) or they might make one for you.

Well, Dixie is a drag racer - go fast enough, and they won't let you come back without one. Redneck I'm not sure about - maybe a racer too. A lot of off-roaders like a full cage too (keeps the windshield from finding your face in a roll-over)

i've already ordered the one from s&w and i checked out the link for the one on ebay and it looked identical to the s&w and if you look down the listing alittle the product code is s&w XXXXX, so its there anyway. ANYWAYZ i ordered the 10 point EWS tube cage (nhra aproved) for $250 and get this, they ship in 5 boxes, total weight of all the boxes is 120lbs and to ship it ground from pa. to n.c. was ONLY $62!!! I figuered shipping would be at least half the price of the cage itself! They also sell a 14 point upgrade kit thats only $150 more! Yes Tonka, i am a drag racer and 11.49 or quicker needs at least a 6 point cage. The main reason i want the cage is to stiffen the chassis, you know a truck frame is alot narrower than a car frame so it can twist alot easier.

You might as well go with a 'real' cage, then, rather than a 6-point bar. You'll have to change it out once you get to 9.99 anyway. If you're running in the 9s you need to have the cage certified every 3 years, so you're going to want to have it done right. The techs get more and more picky the faster the vehicle is.

Jim

EDIT: Missed the 10-point cage part. Sounds like you have what you need. I haven't done it in my car because they transmit a lot of noise into the interior. I just tell them the car runs high-11s and leave when they ask me to. All GNs look a like so when I come back they don't know if I was that 14-second GN or the 9-second one.
