Default Roll bars

How much are roll/light bars like this worth?

Also how are they installed? Welded or bolt on?

I've been looking for the same deal. The ones I looked at bolted on. But I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company that makes them. When I get out of school I'll look.

Are these items stuck in the 80's? I remember seeing Back to the Future, and his truck albiet a Toyota, had a light bar. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Seeing the pic above makes me want to fit one to my truck! Someone has to know what they are worth.

Wow thanks for the link! Those are pricy, and it says "Not to be used as a roll bar" Guess I know what they are worth now!

I picked a set of bars up on CL for $50... They were out of a chevy, just 1 bolt for each of the kickers and 4 for each footing. Have you checked with your local scrapyards? Application really doesn't matter, so long as it fits. If only bumpers were so easy.

Seeing as most of them bolt to the body only, they're pretty much all for show...

Ahh. That is too bad. I figured they would go down to the frame.

I did see one on a truck the other day that was made out of 3" PVC pipe. It was very funny looking. But kind of kool at the same time.
