Default Rim/Tire Size

Can I run 31.00 x 10.50-15 tires on an 8 inch rim or would I be better off going with a 30.00 x 9.50-15. I've got an '88 2WD w/ a 1.5" leveling kit.

Thanks, Mike

It will fit, but it may bulge in the center a little. I have a 32x11.50 on my 8 inch wide rim and it looks fine.

Sorry, I don't know how to convert but I do have a metric/SAE tape measure.
8 inches= 20.3 cm
10.5 in= 26.6 cm
11.5 in= 29.2 cm
30 in= 76.2 cm
31 in= 78.7 cm
32 in= 81.3 cm

Default Rim/Tire Size

Thanks for all your help, the pics especially probably will go a bit wider than that.

Thanks, Mike

The stock rim is/was 15x7.5 and I am running the same size tire with no bulging look at all.
