Default Replacing vacuum hosing

If I am to replace all of the vacuum hosing on my 95 f150 how do I reach behind the engine?

What I did was use part rubber hose, part old vacuum hose. Since the part that didn't go to the back of the engine wasn't broken or cracked, I snipped off the remainder of it and ran the rubber hose to the old vacuum hose. Part old, part new and it all works!
