Default Removing the baseball cap?

When I bought my truck 2 years ago, I wasn't in love with the ball cap on it. But for the price, I couldn't pass up the truck. I figured I would get used to the ball cap. I still don't care for it very much.

I am wondering if it can safely be removed from the truck? I know I would have to fill in some holes and paint over that if it is possible.

Supposedly it was bought with the cap on, not added later, but I don't know that for a fact.

I don't know the real name of the thing that I call a ball cap, but it is that thing sticking out over the windshield lol

Thanks!

You mean the visor? Some are on with 2 sided tape and some are screwed on. Yes it will come off.

Yeah the visor lol

It is screwed on. I thought it might cause damage to remove it. Thanks, Sean

pull it and dimple the holes and fill them with spot putty... sand smooth and prime and paint...

Best to weld the holes shut but I imagine you don't have a welder. I don't think spot putty will do it, that's for minor imperfections not holes. You will have to use Bondo. I would say to use gorilla hair but that's a bit of overkill for tiny holes.
