Radio
You should be able to just pop the trim around it off. There should be four screws, one on each corner, (might be wrong, could be one on each side, two screws) that you can either take a flat head to or a rachet to. Rachet is faster. Once those are out, just pull gentley. Or hard, if you don't care about the wires. (I had to recrimp a few into new housings to connect some back together...)
Take a screw driver, skinny little flat head, and slip it under the trim. Torque it along the length of the trim, until you find the clips. Then you can either find another screw driver and pop em both at once, or just use the one and apply leverage until the trim pops out of the clip.
Looks like ya got her to me... should be able to just pull from there. I'm on a phone though, can't see too well. I have a 90, and they switched the positioning of the radio and climate control between my model year and yours, but I've got a buddy with a 94 and he said it just pulled out after he got the trim off.
You can pry it out a bit with the drivers if ya need to. Should make it easier.

If you have the tools, you can (usually) pop the radio out of the dash without removing any trim at all. They're available for just a few dollars at auto parts stores, possibly even your local Wal Mart. Sometimes they won't be able to release the clips entirely, but most of the time it works.
With the tool make sure you do not push them in to far, as this will not release the locks and you will not be able to remove the radio. They go in and you will feel a slight release of tension, you then pull the ends toward each other and pull out. The Radio should come out without much force if you properly released the locks if not wiggle the tools in or out and retry.
