Default Radiator replacement?

how would you know if your radiator is busted?
I hit a deer this morning and my radiator has some gashes in it but none of the metal lines appear to be broken. Should I replace it anyways? I have to replace my Trans oil cooler because it was busted when I hit the deer.

unless you have an aftermarket trans cooler it will be part of the radiator.

and if you dont see any green fluid leaking on the ground your radiator is fine, unless the built in trans cooler is leaking.

O_O I wonder how long a vehicle can run with the coolant and ATF mixing.

The stock trans cooler is part of the radiator. The connections should be there even if not used.

Follow the 2 lines from the transmission, shouldn't be too difficult to trace, may be it isn't stock? I'm not very fond of ATF coolers integrated into the cooling system because of the very small chance they mix.
