ha iv topped mine out at 124 but its kinda stock.... and it took a while to get there but it did. i do 80 almost daily around here.

 

The speedo only goes to 90........

 

friend followed me in his 93 eclipse. the speedo pisses me off only going to 90.

 

what kind of motor do you have, any performance parts in it?

 

5.0 4spd auto. at the time i had drop in K&N filter and no cat. also i got 3.55 gears non LS

 

nicee, sorry for asking i dont know much about some of the parts, what is no cat and 3.55 gears non LS?

 

no cat= catalytic converter which is only good for emissions taking it out improves exhaust flow and frees up a little horsepower/torque. 3.55 gears is something i have a hard time explaining lol. the drive line rotates 3.55 times for the tires to spin 1 time. LS means limited slip or posi-trac (both back tires spin) mine just spins 1 wheel.

 

If you want speed, then go get a mustang, not a F-150. The speedometer only goes to 90 for a reason. These trucks aren't built for speed. I had my truck 75 one time and I thought I was gonna wreck. Lol. Of course, my speedometer is a little off because of the tires. It doesn't like the interstate either.

 

x2 on the mustang thing, my truck feels pretty good up to 105, 124 i think i **** myself.

 

well like ive said before, my truck is LOWERED lol, hitting high speeds in mine really doesnt bother me, im 17 and i can control it hehe, thanks for explaining
