Thanks. I appreciate all the help. I like the new truck. But it isn' the same as the 1989 300 five speed. So I am looking for parts and going to try to fix the 1989. My dad taught me how to drive in a 1989 ford f150 short bed 300 5 speed.... I guess that's why I love these old trucks. I'll post some pics of it being torn apart and going back together. Probably would be a great time to fit it all back together, adjust door gaps and panel alignment, then strip them and repaint! Well here we go!

Is it just me or did the 87-91 f150 have more leg room than the 92-96?

It's just you. They have the same cab as the 80 to 86 and the 92 to 96.

I know it's the same cab. But not the same leg room. Must be the seats.. my 1989 had more room!

Is the newer seat sagging, allowing your legs to bend more at the knee? That would feel more cramped.

Maybe that is the case? I just feel like the 1989 had more room. I am 6'2 and the 1989 is much or was more comfortable

The floor and the pedals are exactly the same; the dash in the 9th generation may be a little bigger. Main difference is probably the seat - that would definitely move you closer if the seat is different.
And if you live in a colder climate, you maybe just started wearing a coat ?

Maybe? But I swear the 1989 is more comfortable! Maybe because it' a stick? Anyway the 94 has a new problem. It doesn' do it everyday. But when the problem starts it continues. Runs great highway speeds around town. But sometimes it dies when coming to a stop? Did this six times this morning on my way to work. So I bought and replaced i.a.c. still having problems. Guessing my next step is t.p.s. or a vacuum leak? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again

First step is to pull codes and check fuel pressure.

That is after checking battery connections and all grounds.
