your power steering fluid gets hot enough that it needs a universal cooler? waste of money to me..

Mine gets hot enough to make the plastic pump tank warp. Police cars etc have coolers on the ps. It might be worthwhile on a trail rig just to mount the cooler out oh harms way.

Its only 140 for the box and around 69.99 for the pump. Since my pimp whines like no other, I think I might do that. And my box looks like hell.

Heat is what kills any component, not enought to melt anything but it will help with the life of the pump and posibly the whine, i've found a few coolers for around 40$ So maybe rounting lines infront of the radiator would be nice, might look into that.
