Default Power steering?!

So I'm getting fed up with the power steering on my F-150. Its a 92 with a 5 liter v8. I replaced the line and the pump and it still doesnt work. It works for a second but then all the fluid just pours out like crazy. I was wondering if anyone has any input on this. I dont want to replace the power steering box if this isnt the problem but I dont know enough about it to know exactly what the problem is. any help would be great, Thanks!

You replaced everything else. The box is all that is left.

Mine began to do the same, the steering box was the problem. Something got caught in it and starved it of fluid and it burnt out the seals and would spew steering fluid back out after a few seconds. But did you just replace the line or the pump too?

Recommended fluid for 2007 power steering. Is the Prestone good enough? Or do we really need to use the MERCON?

I just felt it funny that you would ask about a 2007 in the '87-'96 section.
