misadjusted shifter? i just want to be clear ive not done anything to my transmisson anyone has said to try and never has done it befor till just the other day

Thats usually an internal issue...like Sean said could be clutches sticking, Fluid blockage or fluid seepage....who knows till you put gauges on it...

Some trannys do it normally like the 700R4 GM unit...they do it cold in park when you first hit the key....
