Default Possible to change shift points?

i was wondering if there was some kind of tuner or type of system to be able to adjust your shift points on 1992 f150 5.0

92 is obi system so you would need a flip chip like a SCT 6600 and custom tune

ok and im running an 89 gt motor with gt40p heads everything else is of my stock truck 5.0 and i was wondering if it be worth the money to port and polish my truck intake or just get an h.o and switch it all over to mass

The truck intake flows better than the HO intake. In my honest opinion, porting the truck lower is a great way to go.

dont like to race with 5 speeds.. cant out shift a computer.. and believe i might be able to help my time out.. i can run 1st all the way out but it shifts its self outta 2nd at 4 gran.. would just like to be able to wind 2nd longer... and ive heard truck intakes flow better but didnt know if it was true or not

you want to shift when the truck is pulling the hardest... if you raise the shift points you might actually go slower....

manually shift it... you wont hurt it unless you valve float it
