Default Plastic Paint

OK buying any of the interior panels (doors, etc) are really expensive and I want to change a bunch of my red interior to black because I'm planning on painting the truck red. I painted that ugly fake wood trim black and want to do the door panels and maybe some other stuff as well. The only problem is that the plastic paint we bought doesn't seem to hold up to well. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a certain brand or type of paint that would work well.

Thanks, Mike

I painted my dash and panels black they were blue to start with.. at first i tried krylon plastic fusion paint but it wasnt working out to great.. i ended up painting it all with some spray paint i got from sherwin williams (im a painter so I get discounts there).. its a blue can and says rust control.. i figure its their version of rustoleum spray paint.. anyways i painted it all with that stuff and it seems to be doing great..

Yeah I've used Krylon before and liked it well enough. Main thing seemed to be prep it right.

But I've heard folks say they used it and didn't turn out so well. But it's cheap and easy to get, any walmart or hard ware store will have it

Before you paint be sure to clean all the oil and grease off everything.
