Default Pertronix flame thrower coil problem

I put a Pertronix Flame Thrower HV 60,000 volt e-core coil on my truck, it has about 2500 miles on it since I installed it, my truck shut off on the way to church this morning, I put the factory coil back on after checking and not getting any fire and it started right up and runs fine, no codes or any problems. The flame thrower was 0.45 ohm, do I need a different model or just a new coil?
