Either way, a '95 5.0 chip won't work for a '93 5.0.

'93 is MAP (manifold absolute pressure) and '94-'95 is MAF (mass air). Two completely different types of fuel control.

 

Those eBay scams only list different years to get more hits - it's still the same piece of trash.

 

okay .. i figured it was a scam i wasn't thinking about buying one just wondering about it ... what motor produces more power the 93 MAP or the 94 MAF

 

The 94 - it's also much more willing to be modded.

They claim 200HP (for $25???????????????) and 75MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read the whole ad - they talk in circles, claiming that all other sellers have a resistor in a box, and that their website is the only one showing what's inside the box. They don't have a website!

Later in the ad, they state 150HP without sacrificing MPG - not quite what they initially claimed.

Aside from the bull, you logically can't take a 185HP motor and more than double it's HP for $25 - if you could, everyone in the world would drag race.
