Default O2 sensor

My truck is a 1993 4.9 and has 207,000 miles on it and the O2 sensor has never been changed...It has an ocasional miss that doesnt effect driveablity, but I wonder if I put a fresh O2 sensor if it would make a difference.

im not sure if it will fix the miss.. but it will definitely change something because they'r supposed to be changed every 60k. put one in my 95 5.0 with 174k and it increased throttle response and gave it a little extra torque at take off.

Ford boy what kind off difference did you see?????????? Do you have the part number? I looked at rockauto.com but they have soooo many options. I dont know to go with the cheap 20 dollar one or a more expensive one.

Sorry I was on vacation and did not check my email. But I bought Bosch o2 sensors because others on this forum recommended them and they are what is originally on our trucks. I bought mine at rock auto because they are cheaper than anyone else. I noticed slightly improved throttle response and a little better idle. If you have problems changing them, what I did was cut the wires off and use a 1/2 drive ratchet with a deep well socket and a bunch of extensions. Make Shure you replace both banks at the same time too.
