I used to turn overdrive off everytime I drove it and it did help but I got tired of screwing around and just changed gears to 4:56 and everythings good now and changed my constant on the PCM back to original. Your tranny will thankyou!!!
How is your truck on the highway about 65 is it pretty freindly. How is the gas millage.
The 4:56 gear makes sinse cause I used the gear ratio formula and came up with 4:10
To make it about stock. Why do stock when you can get a little more with 4:56 's. Thanks for the info
That's what I have been looking for

It runs around 2500-2600 RPM at 65. It has been a great mod. I think if I bought another truck one day I would put 4:88's in though. Im buying a travel trailer the first of next year so I hope they dont disappoint or I might be buying a superduty Ford(thats going to be my excuse to Mama anyway LOL!). My truck isnt a daily driver but it would be fine for one. I work out of my company vehicle so my ole Ford just gets used on weekends mostly for pulling my boat and playin in the woods.
