Default is this normal?

the wires going to the rabs sensor on the rear end of my truck somehow got up on my exhaust and burned all the way through. made my truck go crazy with the shifting and speedo bouncing around. i found the problem when i was fixing somethin else, and i fixed that too. i fixed the wires and it solved the problem. but my truck never threw a code. the wires completely burned through so the rabs wasnt hooked up at all. i know there is a code for this sensor, but i never got one from my truck. is this normal?

Your speedometer is mechanical. Your transmission might not be computer controlled, do you have the overdrive button on the shifter?

Does the gear indicator say P R N D 2 1 or P R N OD D 2 1?

Yeah, that's the E4OD. I just never saw one with the button on the dash.

Anyways, now that that's out of the way, I would think you would have gotten a VSS code. But computers do weird things too.
