Still out of the country so I haven't been able to try something new, but I was reading some replies. If it is the fuseable link, does it actually have an inline fuse that needs to be replaced, or would it be the whole thing?

Fusible links are short sections of wire that melt in the event of a short, so changing the link is required if it melts. Bad batteries can still test at full voltage, it gives the voltage of all good cells but there can be bad cells. Then you wouldn't get full cranking amps. You might want to have the starter tested.

Fusible link looked good, but a new one came with the new starter anyhow.

Tested the starter when I got to work today, and that seems like it was the problem. When I hooked it up, the motor would only find connection and kick on sometimes, and when it did find connection, it still wasn't connecting properly. Picked up a new one for 75. Thanks for all the help guys!
