Default Need help bad!!!!

Hey I just bought a 94 f150 5.0. When I'm driving it seems to hesitate and shake some. Lastnite I was driving it and it did it really bad. I pushed the pedal to the floor and it still didn't wanna go anywhere and to a min to rev up. Does this sound like bad gas or the tranny ?

for my truck the whole assembly from napa is like 90 dollars. But I would make sure that is the problem before you replace it. Do you have dual tanks? If so try the other tank and see if you have the same problem. Could be bad gas if it was sitting a long time and the tank was low. Moisture will accumulate in the tank and water down the gas. It may also just need a tune up. Could have fouled plugs or bad wires or even just a clogged fuel filter.

I don't have duel tanks so how do I make sure it's the fuel pump ? I have already changed the plugs and wires.

you could check fuel pressure. If the pump is weak I would think the pressure would be lower than normal.

There should be a test port on the fuel rail behind the intake, connect a fuel pressure gauge and then turn the key on and leave the motor off, psi should be between 35-45. My 92's been havin the same problem.

I can't be sure of anything. But I would look at the fuel issues first, as that is way cheaper than trans work. I'm assuming the truck is an auto? If so does it do this in every gear or just one? If its just one I'd say sure its probably the transmission. But if it does it regardless of gear selection you have a lot of things to try and rule out.
