Mass air conversion problems
So months ago, going through the local yard I pulled the engine harness from a 95 150 with a mass air 302 to convert my 93. Computer was already gone. Just got my 96 computer today in the mail. After pulling my harness from the truck and almost getting the new one (95) installed. I noticed the connector from the 95 harness will not work with the 96 computer. The 95 has 3 rows of pins and the 96 has 4. What am I missing here? Both are mass air systems. Is it a tranny deal? I have an E4OD. Didn't pay attention to what the 95 had. Now that the truck is all apart, do I need a new computer or harness? Thanks for any help
I guess my issue is that the 95 harness I have is ODB-l while the 96 computer is ODB-ll. Does anyone have info on computer codes or part numbers for a 95 302 with E4OD and mass air? All I can find is 96 info. And any 95 info I find it doesn't say if it's for a mass air or speed density truck. Thanks
With more research, do I just need to track down a California emissions 95 computer?

You can also look at a computer from a 95 bronco with the e40d transmission. The broncos switched to mass air before the trucks due to their lower gvw. California trucks also have mass air earlier to meet the emissions.
Thanks... Did the 94 Bronco offer mass-air?
Finally I believe I need a F5TF-12A650-JB. This was the computer for a 95 bronco or 150 with mass-air. Being the 95 harness is almost installed, I think getting a 95 computer will be the easier route, not to mention cheaper. Off to the local yard to see if I can find one. Autozone can get me a remanufactured one for just about $100, not too bad. It's funny didn't see any warnings (or I just missed them) when I was looking into doing this conversion. I thought as long as I got mass air parts from anything from 95-96 i would be fine. It should be known it's one or the other. OBD-l or OBD-ll.

Only if they were mass air correct? Didn't some of them still have speed density. This could help because I am striking out on finding a 95 bronco right now locally. I may do better if I could expand my search. Anyone have a list or link to OBD-l computers that I am looking for. Really need to get my truck running befor ethe weekend is over. I'd rather not re-install everything I took out.
Thanks

Next Issue...wiring harness I got must not have been for an E4OD transmission. One of the connectors going down to the transmission is different between the new harness and what is on the truck. May have run into the end of this project. Does anyone know where I can get some prints for both the 93 and 95? Maybe it won't be many wires to change. Thanks

Dude, all of the automatic ones are MAF. I wouldn't have said all of them if it wasn't all of them. The transmission plug changed somewhere around those years so that's why it isn't plugging in. Some have changed the plug.
