Again with this. '94-'95 5.0 automatics are MAF. All '96s are MAF. California got MAF in '95.

 

should be stuck to the under side of the hood itself... thats where mine is...

 

Just look for the sensor. MAF will be in the air intake tubing between the filter an throttle body. Based on my 92 the MAP will be under the hood and on the top passenger side near the firewall, it is short and square/rectangular with a plug and vacuum line attached to it.

Huh, yeah I didn't see Sean's post, but was suspecting something like this. Any ideas why the 5.0 automatic got it in 94? Why not the manual? Did this pertain to just the 5.0?

 

Because the automatic needed the ecu programming to run the transmission. They did that job first to meet the federal mandate. No point in writing a program for one year. The manual was a drop in so they put it off. That's the story I've heard anyway.
