Well since both trucks and donor are swb the transfer should make up the length and fit with the 4wd drive shaft that's if the donor shaft is still good.

His is extended cab shortbed, donor was regular cab shortbed.

Shops should be able to shorten and balance one for around $100 right?

I believe that is about right had mine redone think I paid 120ish give or take

I paid near $200 to have a new one made, all new. The transfer case makes the overall driveshaft length shorter, you don't need a two piece.

Thats what I was wondering. I am acutally curious if Its not adding so much length that the one I have won't work.

You can compare the amount the 2wd yoke was out of the case and if it's close I'd use it. With other vehicles I've had the driveshaft in an extra inch with no problems (lowered) and with a lift you can check the suspension droop to see if the shaft comes close to falling out.

Around October of last year in tupelo at transport trailer bit had to get it redone twice cause welder Done it **** eyed
