Default lift ?'s, options, etc.

ok i have a 94 ext cab that has a a 4 inch lift i believe by RC, the previous owner had it installed a while back...i am wanting to upgrade to a 6 inch because i want bigger wheels, tires, and ground clearance but do not want to pay 500 dollars for another complete kit and was wondering if i could just buy a couple of 6 inch lift coils for the front a couple of blocks for the rear some shocks and still have a dependable, rugged suspension i cant seem to find out the difference between the drop brackets for the 4in kit and the 6in kit and i was hoping for maybe a little feedback

i think the drop brackets are the same and you just need taller springs and shocks.

From what I've read, the only difference in most of the 6 inch lift kits for our trucks versus the 4 inch lifts is just springs.

Food for thought, is possibly wrong, but I've seen it go aroudn

From what I've seen they are the same brackets and have the holes for 4 or 6 inches. So you would move the I-beam end pivot to the lower hole. The drop pitman arm shouldn't be hard to find, but you should already have one on there and shouldn't need to replace it for only 2 more inches.

Post up pics of the drop brackets for the TTB. And of your pitman arm. So we can see what you're working with.
