Default Leaf spring bolt problem

95 150 4X4. I'm replacing my back leaf spring hangers and I can't get the bolt out of the leaf spring. I'm working on the ground and the spring is up in the fender. I've removed the nut with heat, but have had no luck with the bolt. Because this hanger was broken, I've removed it. I'm not committing to the other side till I figure out how to remove the bolt and finish this side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The bolt is stuck in the leaf spring hole? Break it loose and spin it to work off some of the crap that's built up on the bolt shaft.

That's about all you can do....."unthreading" it is the only term I can think of.

Good luck with the heat...I changed my shackles and springs not long ago and ended up having to put a cutting wheel on my 8 inch grinder and cut both sides of the bolt. It was kind of a waste of time anyway, I couldnt get the bushings out of the shackles and just ended up putting new ones on. It was a pain in the ***.

The problem I'm having is the leaf spring is up in the fender. Is it necessary to remove entire spring to work on it. If I left the spring where it is and burned out the rubber sleave, I wouldn't have the room to put a new one back in. Thanks

Jack up the truck until the leaf pivots down out of the bed side.

At the time when I did mine I had the box off, that helped a lot....and it was still a headache. Might consider it...only takes about 15 minutes and 3 extra sets of hands to lift it off. I would suggest a sawzall but I tried it on mine and apparently they were grade 8 bolts...I ate up 3 blades before I gave up.
