Well I always keep a fire extinguisher on hand, I set my trucks rear end on fire when I was welding my rear shackle and the grass and straw from driving through fields burst into flames

Safest bet is to probably be around while hes working on it, if hes grinded wheres hes welding, tacks in the floor panel and has a nice consistent bead and doesn't have to cut his wire every 6" from getting it caught.

Well sounds good enough for me, 200$ is pretty good for floor pans and the extra work that may be needed.

Go for it
