Ok, I located the MLP sensor, it looks like a simple job. Haynes says adjust with special FORD tool or should I just replace?

Oh, you mean the "WMW sensor". Why didn't you say that in the first place! "I'd like whatever he's having, but could you make mine a Double? I must be late & Big E seems to have a bit of a head start!" He had me out looking for a "Left-handed Smokeshifter" half the day. Been out of production since 03'. I did find him a "Right-Handed" unit, but he'll have to switch hands! What say you E-Miester? Anyway, "If you keep the shiny side up & the rubber to the road, you'll be fine!" Ya know what I mean? By the way, I have a question for you. What the heck is a "Capo"? Dare I ask? If you don't know, I guess I got the wrong "Ekenfecker".

It's the manual lever position sensor. It tells the computer if the truck is in gear. That's one of those codes that sometimes goes away when you fix other problems. 334 means EGR closed voltage higher than expected, so it could be stuck open. You can try cleaning it.

Sean, I could be wrong, but I think the main purpose of E-Mans Thread was to "Yank my Chain". If not, he's all yours! Anyway, nice ta see your still going strong. I always meant to ask you if your in the trade or if you picked up all your info just wrenchin on your own trucks?

Whoa, partner, I'm not yanking anyone's chain. Capo, would be a CapoNord, http://www.speed-sports.com/motorcyc...Vcapo1000.html never did buy it, Motoprimo couldn't get the salesman to talk to the service dept. to talk to the mechanics to get the Nord out of the Capo (Italian electronics). Instead I picked up a used BMW GS1150r http://www.flickr.com/photos/mappy74/391487436/ a couple of years back. Got it because of the strong aftermarket support and best legroom for my sweetie but I'm really a Triumph guy. My sweetie's had a couple of knee surgeries and I wanted the best leg extension possible for her. 30 years ago, when I was broke and smarter than I am now, I was working in a downtown Milwaukee hardware store, we'd sit and watch the hookers traipse in and out of the building across the street heading to the OBGYN. Well I had a joker (a regular) come in asking the new guy (me) to get him a lefthanded skyhook, Ha jokes on me. As far as rubber side up, I'm quite serious about that. I commute by bicycle http://oneononebike.com/ 40 miles round trip up to 5 days a week, rain or shine, spring, summer, fall, and winter, and I ride motorcycles, so yeah, I'm a little crazy. I don't even mind you wasting your time looking around for me on your computer, if you see my point. And you asked what a MPL sensor was and I was asking about an MLP sensor, so of course I figured you was messing, what the heck, I messed back. Sean, thanks for the imput. I haven't been wrenching on trucks for long so most of this is new to me, I'm learning a little at a time. And the truck, it's bucking (shuddering) around 1500 RPM after shifting. Ymeski56, lighten up already, Geesh.
