Introduction
I know there is an introduction section but I figure I'll spend most of my time here so might as well introduce myself to the folks with the same type rigs.
Truck: 1989 F150 Super Cab 4x4 with the M5OD and 300 I6. Purchased from an old man who bought a bunch of equipment and trucks in the early 90s and then got out of the construction business. Truck has less than 10k original miles. (I know it's a 5 digit odometer but trust me this is accurate. He also has mid 80s Chevy C30 with 5k miles, just sold 90s Chevy with 8k miles and has 80 something front end loader with 2 hours on it.) I did purchase it in NY so there is some surface rust but some places on frame and driveline still have paint on them. Fender wells and underneath side of bed are rust free. Interior is MUSTY smelling but I'll let it air out over the next couple of days and it should be fine. It needs new tires as the old ones are dry rooted. Thankfully I have a set of 33x10.5R15 Super Swampers in the garage.
Me: Active duty Marine, stationed in NY but Texas is home. Can't wait to get back. For the last nine years I've been a Jeep Wrangler only man but I sold my 06 Rubicon and bought the F150. I do still have a lifted 95 Wrangler that's not going anywhere. (It has 88k miles.)

My "old man truck". I'll get some more pictures this weekend but this is just as purchased. I'll be taking somethings off and giving it a bath. Also, will be going through and changing fluids and belts and hoses and things. Probably order my small lift for it too. I've been told it will fit 33s as is and it looks like it might. Hopefully get those swapped this weekend or early next week. The running boards will definitely be coming off along with the mud flaps on the back. I will replace the running boards with Carr Super Hoops, I think.
