What's the problem? Unplug it and take it out. Little black box.

In my truck ('90) the black box is held to it's bracket via an 8mm bolt the is straight above the brake release handle, where the rod goes into the bracketry. Mine only worked on high, and then, in the rain and at night, they started not working so well. I managed to find it, get it out, and - per instructions from Sean in other posts on here, resoldered the solder joints. During the reinstall, I tucked it above the fuse panel and left it loose. Now, I have high and low, and where intermittant should be I have another low. I also have a headache and sore fingers. The genious that put this little box there should have to repair and replace them in every truck out here, and get his head adjusted by the owners of said trucks.

The switch's r know to go bad . But so do motors .

If they cut in and out .I find if you tap/bump switch and wipers start to work its the switch .
