Don't have any on my 94 XLT - the door panel has a courtesy light.

My 94 XL only has the ugly roof interior/map light. It had a weak ground and was worthless when I bought it. Now, I got the clear lens off of LMC truck, a nice bright white led bulb, and tightened the connections. Dramatic difference as the interior is nicely lit up!

If you want under dash lighting get some of those led strips an stick one on each side then wire it into the over head light.

This is one of my projects there year. I have the LED's. I was thinking 2 strips one under the dash driver's side and one passenger side.

Have you seen anyone tap it into the door peg thing? The peg that turns the overhead on/off?

That pin is basically a toggle switch for the power to the overhead light might be easier to tap into the power there. Or it would atleast be less wires to run compared to the roof mounted light. I plan to add some to my bed sometime soon, might put a set inside also.

Was thinking about a kit like this for the bed. Would be nice when in hunting or camping not to have a head lamp on or a light in one hand when looking for stuff in the bed.
