this is in the wrong forum,
and if its not, a 2011 shelby intake will not fit on our trucks.

I won't pick a fight with the nut, so search for "just gained 8mpg" on the forum search bar.

You sure you don't mean a 2001 intake from a mustang?
If you do it should fit if it was when they still put in the 5:8 before they swaped to the 5.4 but if it is an '01 intake its the same thing as a gt-40 intake the runners are just more in a diamond arrangement and can support 350 hp

no im straight up talking a 2011 gt500 shelby cobra,my cousin had one and got into a bad accident and flipped it and totalled it,and i plan on taking the intake off and muffler before the insurance comes to get it,would the muffler sound better thn the flowmaster 40 i have on now?

It's an entirely different engine. It designed with a different purpose and I don't even think it will bolt on. I suppose if you go buy a block of billet a machine shop can blueprint and cut something for under $1000. But that's kinda silly don't you think. Even if it does fit its designed to work with variable timing. You won't gain any performance or mpg. I believe the Expedition intake for that year provided some gains.

If you have a flowmaster 40 on your truck now the mustang muffler would actually quiet your truck down.
