if only it were that easy, lol. I have the same problem I think, with the surging at certain RPM ranges. Once you move past them it runs fine. I believe I traced mine down to the 02 sensor. Mine is practically welded in, and since ti doesn't affect me much, I'm leaving it until I change out the exhaust. Hope that helps a little,

Default update no luck

just changed the fuel pump and spent 5 hours cleaning the throttle botty inside and out and the pendulum and now the truck surges and shutters even worse. now im thinking that it must be something ignition wise cause it got worse when it got more air and more fuel so it must not have enough ignition. any new ideas?

If it will do it in neutral sitting still then hook a timing light to each wire and watch the flashes for any missing.
