Default HP And Performance

I have a 93 150 5.0 xlt, I want to know what would be the best route for as quality and worth my money to upgrade on overall performance on my truck for under $1200. Everything is stock thats under the hood currently. I do have plans to add dual flowmasters and air intake kit.

MSD ignition setup. K&n filter, <----$200 for bolth. Turbo kits run around $500-$800. Can you remove your cats in your state?

legally, no you cant remove them anywhere. does your state have emissions? if so dont touch them, if they dont then gut them. also, $200 for MSD and K&N filter is a little high, the cap/rotor and coil is only $70 the wires are another $30-40 then the filter is $45

Really? I figured it would be more expensive. I also bought the cleaning kit for the filter. The cleaning kit was $10 I think it had the oil and degreaser.

I ordered my ignition system straight from MSD the $300 included shipping and $25 insured freight. (incase it got damaged or stolen) if I remember correctly the kit cost me $225-$250 then the shipping was $25
