I think there's a bolt that unscrews. Then a couple wires.

Well.. the horn is a complicated system. Made even more complicated with the addition of a relay. Luckily on mine, I don't have this relay which would have complicated my horn system problems. Anyway, on mine the horns have 12vdc going to them all the time and the horn button makes the circuit for the ground. Is it the same on the 91?

I don't think so, no relay. He asked how to remove them. Just look. One bolt, two wires. If you can't see that by looking then put down the wrench.

not sure where it is on your truck, but I pull my battery out to get to the horn. Horn has one, 12v wire and grounds through its bolt. Its an extra few seconds, to make it 300x easier.
Well then you have to reset your stereo if you have an aftermarket one, etc. But yeah, remove battery.

my only problem was that ive only had 3 ford trucks, 2 82's and an 83. there horns were all bolted right behind the front left head light. the horns on this one were mounted below the left headlight outside of the engine cavity. i found them and replaced them but i just had no clue on this gen of the truck
