So I replaced my water pump yesterday and finished everything up today. Closed the hood, went to open later to check everything out and its stuck. Like halfway between being open and closed. The inside latch is good, the cable isn't broke. Something to do with the outside hood latch. Anything I can do to open it?

Thanks for the help! I finally got it

 

I've done that. What happens is you accidently shut the latch, then close the hood and it gets stuck not closed or open. I had to unbolt the latch through the hood. It wasn't fun since all I was doing was checking my oil and about to hit the road for a 4 hour trip.... it took an hour to get the latch off and the hood open. then put it back on and close it.
