I am only glad that you guys are miles away. You are all aware that the water car idea has been around since the '30s. That in the alternative fuel competitions involving the smartest engineers, students, scientist and technicians in the world with nearly unlimited funding have not been able to make this a viable solution. That the only people that claim it works post on the net along with the keyboard playing cat. That trying to pump 2 different fuels with different flash points and burn times will play havoc with your timing not to mention any computer controlled systems. And most of all that hydrogen is extreemly explosive. Just a small ammount and a spark is enough to blow up a house. ( check mythbusters for that one) and you guys want to just pump it into the intake? Again I M thankfully for the distance. No offence to anyone's creativity but for the love of god while you are trying to destroy your engine please be careful. Do the research on hydrogen gas and energy released and I don't mean Google. Try a library.

Hmm. I've done electrolysis with a battery charger and test tubes, and I ignited the hydro and all it did was flare up for a split second. The stuff's not explosive, all it does is burn. If the intake were completely airtight, there would be a viable reason to worry...but if it ignites early, it should just burn. It might mess up/melt some stuff, but it shouldn't explode.

Dude, they make cars that run on hydrogen. Don't be scared sweetheart.

Yes they do. Have you seen the fuel system? It's tighter than a natural gas line. Hydrogen has much more potential energy than natural gas. Hydro cars have pressure fittings similar to those for propane. They also use high impact fuel cells and automatic cut off switches for accidental leaks. The tiny ammount produced in a test tube experiment is nothing. You guys are talking about trying to produce large quantities. Failure isn't the problem. The problem is that one of you will actually succeed in producing a large quantity. Having an open intake is even worse. Then you are simply filling the engine compartment with hydrogen. The spark from a cooling fan relay is more than enough to ignite a good quantity of hydrogen and oxygen. I'll post a link to a video of a zamboni that caught fire. The propane made a beautiful fireball.

I love it, damn good thing we aren't talking about storing large quantities of hydro, that would just be insanity

The paint or what ever was used on that was a contributing factor in it going down. Mythbusters. Lol!
