The plates only produce one kind of hydrogen, I'd have to check my notes can't remember the name. The coil produces the other type of hydrogen and in larger quantities. The lesser type of hydrogen supplements the other. Instead of the plates you're wanting to use mine calls for two different diameter stainless tubes, one inserted into the other not touching but very close. My father is a printed circuit board designer so he's familiar with the stuff used, and he said the toroid coil I need to make would put out one hell of a magnetic field and he's never seen one in use before, although we did find a supplier for the parts.

Very interesting and extremely useful, I will have to research some more on the coils, from the sounds of it I may want to use those instead. Maybe a coil/plate combo :evilgrin: might not be much of a difference but still something to think on. I could use all the advise on this as possible. Thanks for the input on it.

BTW, what are you goin to put the booster pack in?

I was going to use it on my carbureted Blazer for easiest setup. Mine isn't exactly a supplement, it's supposed to produce large amounts of hydrogen to run only on hydrogen. It's not like any system you may have seen.

I know hydrogen is supposed to take a lot of energy to produce, but my father says the components are capable of large magnetic fields. That is his area of expertise so if he thinks it would work then so do I. The way he explained it made sense, how the parts function and the large scale up from common sized parts.

Well it's peaked my curiosity, I'm a long ways from a full hydro conversion though. It makes sense when I think about it though.

Honestly I don't think it will take much to produce the HHO, when ya think about it you can produce about 2l per minute (or more) when running off of a 15a power supply. Those are the estimates when using plates though, I'm not too sure what it would be with a coil.

See now you got my gears turning......this is gonna be some fun ****, I may have to run dual alternators to run a coil/plate combo and still have enough juice for everything else. Only time will tell.....with luck I will have a prototype up and goin within the next month.

Theres no way it could run off itself and be self contained and not use any gas. Sorry but there is a little thing called conservation of energy.

@Reptile02,

Thanks so much for starting this thread! We have the exact same truck, and I was also thinking about doing that...because honestly, the 10 MPG I get freaking sucks. Are you using some plan off of the Internet, or are you designing it yourself?

Laws are meant to be broken. Fact/law evolves as scientific research advances. The world was flat once...

It does use gas, hydrogen gas.

It's a Great topic I think, I'm designing my own. I just can't see spending cash on something you can google
