Exclamation Help with my 91

alright so i bought my 91 about 6 months ago and have had no problems. but all of a sudden its starting to make a click in the front end (not in 4wheel tho) my rear end has like 3 inches of slop and now i need help because i can not figure out why my tail lights wont work (or turn signals) when my running or head lights or on. With them off it all works fine. wondering if anyone has had this problem? also im about to run through the whole truck and replace some stuff before it breaks any suggestions on what is high priority.?

Welcome to the board.

Your light problems are probably due to a faulty headlight switch. Not sure about the clicking noise. When you say the rear has 3" of slop, what does that mean? The more descriptive you are with the problems, the easier it will be for someone else to assist you. Good luck.

Am totally confused with your description? Transmissions have input and output shafts, differentials whether front or rear have input and axles shafts. Please describe again as I am confused. Not a jerk, just a putts!

Thank you, this does not sound good. The yoke the driveshaft bolts to is the pinion and it should only turn a very small amount, 1/16-1/8. Will have to pull off cover and inspect.

Yeah... ring and/or pinion gear might need to see a dentist!
